Ouch
At the weekend I was up at Highgreen, Tarset where VARC have their base. A fantastic setting in rural northumberland. I took part in a workshop where i made another piece relating to Ouch – you put the ouch in touch. Much of my work is site specific, i was working and i saw some nettles – the opportunity was too good to turn down.
Additionally I was working with a tree and then was inspired to write FUEL under it in the grass – this references labelling botanical samples, but also the fact that it is a source of fuel, and it being an Ash tree seemed appropriate as that is what you get after burning. Unfortunately the situation made it difficult to document
